Mother-of-pearl openwork and gilded EVENTAIL with twelve strands decorated with gallant scenes, the leaf painted with gouache and gold highlights with portraits of elegant ladies in medallions, gallant scenes, parrots perched on vases, trophies of love and hanging flower baskets, the reverse decorated with a peasant woman with a bucket of water in a lakeside landscape.
