In-8, red morocco, smooth spine decorated with gilt fillets, fleurons and geometric motifs including neo-Gothic quatrefoils, gilt fillets and gilt lace framing the boards, filleted edges, gilt inner border, gilt edges (period binding). (4 of which the last is blank)-944-12 [i.e. 10 numbered without missing 961 to 970, and 2 not numbered] pp. ; binding a little rubbed with small tear at upper head and worn corners, some foxing. Louis XVIII's coat of arms on the title, copper-engraved by Louis-Marie Normand. They are woodcut in most copies. Copy enriched with a printed copy of the text of the Constitutional Charter of 1814 pasted to the inner margin of p. 17.
