In-24, marbled brown calf, ornate smooth spine, double frame of vegetal friezes with fleurons at corners and center. Copper-engraved frontispiece hors texte after another drawing by the same painter, a variation on the same allegory. Provenance: Le Profond Silence Lodge, Kampen, Netherlands (ex-libris stamps, including one on the title).
