Tuileur written at the Chambre des Grades du Grand Orient, by a group of officers under the direction of Alexandre Henri Nicolas Roëttiers de Montaleau, 1783-1784, officially adopted in 1785. hand-written, fee-paying distribution by the Grand Orient printed in in-4 format in December 1803, but with the date 1801 (probably that of the manuscript used as a model), an indelicacy condemned by the Grand Orient 2 CAHIERS DESTINES AU VENERABLE, for the grades of Apprentice and Companion (with pen strokes added in the margins to make it easier to locate requests from the Venerable), and 3 CAHIERS DESTINES AU SECOND SURVEILLANT, for the grades of Apprentice, Companion and Master. A MILESTONE IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE "FRENCH RITE".
