LODGE LES TRINOSOPHES DE PARIS. - Signed by several members of the Lodge, including Grand Master President Jean-Marie RAGON, founder of the Lodge. Paris, April 6, 1818. One p. large oblong in-folio on parchment illustrated with a large copper-engraved composition with handwritten additions, wax seal of the Areopagus of the Lodge preserved on red and black silk ribbons in a metal case, inked stamps including those of the Areopagus and the Chapter of the Lodge. DIPLOME DE GRAND ÉLU CHEVALIER KADOSCH. Issued by the Souverain Grand Conseil des Grands Chevaliers de l'Aigle Blanc et Noir Élus Kadosch established at Les Trinosophes Lodge, to Charles Joseph Nacisse Baudré, former principal paymaster in Paris, recognizing all grades up to that of Grand Élu Chevalier Kadosch, "24th degree of the Rit d'Heredom and 30th of the Rit Ancien et Accepté". Other signatories include François-Eusèbe CHACHERE DE BEAUREPAIRE, 33rd, 2nd Grand Commander of the Grand Consistoire de France. A French and Scottish lodge founded by Jean-Marie Ragon de Bettignies (1781-1862) in 1814 under the name Les Vrais Amis, it was later approved by the Grand Orient in 1816 under the name Les Trinosophes.
