Set including: - Two rectangular boxes in red and gold lacquer decorated with dragons documents and embroidery relating to Sarraut - Several welcome letters including one written by the Chamber of Commerce of Phnom Penh on February 18, 1917 and one from the school for little princesses at the Royal Palace of Phnom Penh on December 31, 1917. - Imperial Edict of Emperor Khai Dinh of 1919 for the end of his term of office as Governor General of Indochina, the emperor presented him with a gold decoration of gratitude. - Orange damask silk embroidery with embroidered border of dragons chasing the sacred pearl. "Address from Nam-Dinh Province to H.E. Governor General Albert Sarraut, former member of the National Defense Council...". Dated March 1917. Dim. 96 x 180 cm.
