SÈVRES Oval hard porcelain pot with blue and gold decoration of a frieze of chevrons and garland of foliage named Vieillard frieze. Marked : LL interlaced and crowned, letter-date DD for 1781, mark of the painter Vieillard. 18th century, 1781. L. 27,5 cm. A chip. This compotier, the following ice cup and sugar pot come from the service delivered to the Duchess of Narbonne on October 30 and November 8, 1781 and whose decoration is named frize de Vieillard or also Petite bordure bleu de Vieillard.
