MARSEILLE Wall-mounted flowerpot in earthenware resting on three feet with polychrome decoration of Chinese in the style of Pillement in a medallion on a brown background decorated with garlands of flowers and foliage and knotted ribbons, braids with black and green background on the edges. Attributed to the manufacture of the Widow Perrin. 18th century. H. 19 cm, L. 25 cm. Restorations on the back, one foot restored, the lid missing. Provenance : Former Théodore Mante collection. Former collection Le Tallec, Etude Ader, Picard, Tajan, 8-9 November 1990, n° 684. Appears in the Retrospective Exhibition of French Faience in 1932, n° 1462.
