Wilhelm Von Plüschow called Guglielmo PLÜSCHOW (1852-1930). Two nude studies. A single woman in each visual. Circa 1890-1900. Two albumin prints. On versos, blue pencil figures and red wet stamp of the author "Guglielmo Plüschow Roma Via Sardegna" for the first one and "() Corso Umberto () Roma" for the second one. Sizes about 22,4 x 16,3 cm and 22,7 x 16,9 cm. Slight folds. Provenance : Collection Albert SARRAUT Albert Sarraut (1872-1962) was a famous French politician. Governor General of Indochina from 1911 to 1914, then from 1917 to 1919, Minister of the Colonies from 1920 to 1924, then in 1932 and 1933, several times Minister of the Navy (1930, 1931, 1933 and 1934) and Minister of the Interior (1926-1928, 1934, 1936, 1938 to 1940), he briefly led two governments of the Third Republic in 1933 and 1936. He was a deputy and then a senator for the Aude from 1902 to 1945. He was deported in 1944 by the Germans. After the war, still attached to colonial policy, he chaired the Assembly of the French Union from 1951 to 1958. Member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in 1953.
