Marseille Vase pot-pourri covered in earthenware of Médicis form with decoration in relief on the neck of three heads of goat decorated with fruits and holding garlands of flowers and foliage, and on the lid of snakes, fruits, open partition, trumpets of hunting, the catch of the lid in the shape of pelican, the body decorated with two loves in purple monochrome in a medallion and trophies of gardening and flowers, jagged net gold on the upper edge of the vase and jagged net crimson on the edge of the lid The vase marked in yellow : OO and the lid marked in yellow : 4. 18th century. H. 48 cm, L. 27 cm. Restoration to the pedestal and the pelican's beak, some chips. Appeared at the retrospective exhibition of French faience in 1932 at the Pavillon de Marsan Reproduced in the Repertory of the French earthenware belonging to E. Giraud.
