In-4, in sheets, half-basketcloth folder and publisher's case. 250/350 Monod, II-11052 /// (3f.)-137-(2f.). 18 superb color etchings by J. Van Santer (and not 17 as announced) including the frontispiece, a large title vignette, 15 full pages for the 15 poems and an ornamentation for the bookplate. The edition also contains 6 cul-de-lampe reproduced in colors. Edition at 220 copies, this one of the 40 printed on Japon Impérial (n° 67) containing a suite on Japon, second black state with remarks. The suite contains only the frontispiece and the full pages. Copy enriched with 2 black plates on Japon. These two plates are different versions for the poems L'Aventurier and Les Cordiers. Folder and slipcase rubbed.
