SAINT-CLOUD Large covered tobacco pot in soft porcelain with polychrome decoration in the style of porcelain of three Chinese warriors in a landscape with foliage rocks, the lid decorated with rocks and shrubs. 18th century. H. 20 cm. A chip on the edge of the cover and a chip on the cover's grip. This tobacco jar is to be compared with a tobacco jar without a lid kept in the Adrien-Dubouché museum in Limoges and reproduced by Bertrand Rondot, Discovering the Secrets of Soft-Paste Porcelain at The Saint-Cloud Manufactory, cz. 1690-1766¸1999, no. 133, p. 204.
