OMEGA MARINE. REF. CK 679. MID-1930S Steel bracelet watch on leather from the Art Deco period, one of the first water-resistant diving watches launched by Omega in 1932. This model was the first to be tested at a depth of over 70 m. In 1936, it reached 73 m for 30 minutes in Lake Geneva at a temperature of 5 degrees. Imported from Switzerland. CASE: rectangular, stepped, Art Deco-shaped double water-resistant case in patented staybrite stainless steel with crown protection. Case slides into each other, ensuring perfect water-resistance. Crown at noon. Various patent numbers for France, Great Britain, USA and Germany engraved on the back of the second case. DIAL: silvered with Arabic numerals and painted track markers, "imported from Switzerland" label. MOVEMENT: mechanical, cal. 19.4 SOB. STRAP: leather with adjustable steel Hadley-U.S. folding clasp, patented. Signed and numbered DIM. 23 X 36 mm.
