Bouret covered sugar pot in soft porcelain with grisaille decoration of two profiles in medallions on a brown background on the body and two military and love trophies on the lid in reserves on a green Taillandier background and framed by gold garlands of foliage held in place by knotted pink ribbons.
Marked: LL interlaced, letter-date X for 1775, painter's mark Jacques Fontaine and gilder's mark Pierre Boulanger.
