Rectangular plaque in carved ivory of a nude nymph in her toilette. 19th century 9 x 6 cm Gross weight : 30 g This rectangular plaque is made from the ivory of today's Proboscideans, and more specifically Elephantidae. Chasing, sculpting and polishing have been carried out to modify the original appearance of the raw ivory material. A beautiful antique patina characterizes this ivory.
