Frantz FUNCK-BRENTANO. The Regency. 1715-1723. Paris, Goupil, Manzi et Joyant, 1909. In-4, turquoise half-maroquin with corners, 4 ribbed spine, gilt head, cover and spine, case (R. Degoul). (2f.)-220-(1f.). Frontispiece and 52 out-of-text plates in color and black depicting paintings of the period, 4 headpieces and 4 tailpieces, all with printed serpente. One of 100 copies on Japon (n° XIX). A copy presented in 1942 to Pierre Revilliod, Prefect of the Seine, with a pen-and-ink calligraphy leaf for the occasion, bound at the head. Minor rubbing to nerves, spine rubbed.
