In-8, long-grained red morocco, smooth cloisonné spine decorated with geometric motifs and gilt fleurons with green title-piece, gilt floral frieze framing the boards, ornate coupes, gilt interior roulette, lemon edges (period binding). 972 pp. numbered 1 to 184, "185 to 189", 190 to 489, "490 to 494", 495 to 764, 764 A to 764 D, 765 to 976; the first 2 and last 2 leaves are angularly missing, binding a little rubbed. Woodcut imperial coat-of-arms on title.
