Portrait-frontispiece hors texte by François-Robert Ingouf, known as Ingouf le jeune, based on a drawing by Clément-Pierre Marillier, after a composition by Claude Pougin de Saint-Aubin. Fine contemporary leather-bound copy bearing the coat-of-arms of NICOLAS-MARTIN JULLIOT DE FROMONT (iron missing from OHR). The comte de Fromont (circa 1740-1806) was a king's advisor and maître d'hôtel ordinaire to Louis XVI.
