The first: 1757. In-12 narrow, burgundy morocco (19th-century binding). - Second: 1762. In-12 narrow, brown half-percaline bradel with corners (19th century binding). 1757: first endpapers wet with faded old ink inscriptions, second flyleaf guard missing, freckles. - 1762: binding faded and a little rubbed. LIST OF REGULAR LODGES RECOGNIZED BY THE GRAND LODGE OF ENGLAND, listed in chronological order of foundation. They are located in London, more widely in England, in the English colonies including North America, and in a few European countries such as France and the United Provinces. Collections entirely engraved on copper, by Benjamin Cole, each comprising 21 plates, including : a frontispiece featuring a scene and the coat of arms of the Grand Master (James Brydges Marquess of Carnarvon in 1757, and Washington Shirley, Earl Ferrers and Viscount Tamworth in 1762); 19 pages of tabular lists showing, for each Lodge, its registration number, the sign of its premises, its address, the day or days of the week on which it meets, and the date of its foundation; a publisher's advertisement.
