In-12, purple half-maroquin with corners, double ribbed spine at head and tail with gilt title throughout, gilt head and the other 2 red edges (Tout binder). 108 pp; one spine restored, the other rubbed, first endpaper detached. Interesting disclosure work. One (of 3) copper-engraved plates out of the text. Provenance: Joseph Kiener (several handwritten bookplates, including one on the title dated 1851). A Parisian publisher and bookseller, Joseph Kiener was initiated in 1845, joined several Lodges, attained the rank of Chevalier Kadosch, and became an officer in the Grand Orient.
