TUILEUR. - MANUSCRIT entitled "Cathéchisme des Franc-Maçons". Late 18th century. In-16 paperback in strong blue-gray dominoté paper cover with flower and butterfly motifs. 35 ff. in two successive different hands (change of hand on f. 19), on 2 assembled quires, one of white paper, the other of azure paper. The first scribe dealt with the grades of Apprentice, Companion and Master. The second scribe again devoted pages to the Master's grade, then, after several pieces of verse, addressed the high grades: "Écossime [sic for Scottish], "Parfait Maçon Élu", "Élu des Quinze", "Petit Architecte", "Grand Architecte", "Chevalier de l'Épée et de Rose-Croix", "Illustre", "Septième grade de la Maçonnerie. The Noachite or Prussian Knight". Follows a copy of Karl-Friedrich Köppen's Histoire des Noachites ou Chevaliers prussiens.
