ROSE-CROIX LA CANDEUR DE BORDEAUX CHAPTER. - Piece signed by several members of the Chapter, including its president Dr. CAMY. Bordeaux, January 13, 1846 ("13th day of the 11th month of the year of the V∴ L∴ 1845"). One p. large oblong in-folio on parchment, copper-engraved illustrated with a large composition (Paris, Charles-Adolphe Teissier and Louis-François Schmidt) heightened in color by hand with handwritten additions, wax seal of the Chapter preserved on red, green and black silk ribbons, inked seal of the Lodge. DIPLOMA DE SOUVERAIN PRINCE ROSE-CROIX, awarded to Jean-Baptiste Michellet, aged 49, born in Dunes, Tarn-et-Garonne, and Master of Le Triangle Lodge, Bordeaux. A French and Scottish lodge, it was founded in 1785.
