Large cylindrical majolica theriac jar with two handles in the form of a green-backed braided rope ending in a grimacing mask, decorated in polychrome on an ochre background with the inscription THERIACA in a band surmounting a winged genie in a shield framed by cut-out leather motifs supported by two putti, the neck and reverse decorated in blue, green and yellow with dolphins, a fruit basket, masks and foliage.
