Large circular porcelain bowl with polychrome and gold decoration in the center of the coat of arms of the Heere van Holi family in a shield surmounted by a knight's helmet surrounded by foliage.
18th century, Qianlong period (1735-1796).
D. 38 cm.
Two cracks on the rim.
The coat-of-arms is that of the Heere van Holi family, originally from Middelburg and Dortrecht. See C. Jorg, Chinese ceramics in the collection of the Rijksmuseum, 1997, p. 310, no. 366.
