Rouen Large rectangular earthenware cabaret tray with polychrome decoration of two Chinese and a bird in a landscape, one holding an umbrella, the border decorated with floral reserves on a trellis background and a blue background decorated with foliage scrolls. 18th century. L. 48.5 cm, x 36.5 cm. Restoration to one corner, two suspension holes. Former Tumin collection, 2nd sale, Paris, Me Ader, November 20, 1936, lot 84. Appearing in the retrospective exhibition of French faience at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in 1932, no. 769.
