Émile GALLÉ (1846 - 1904) & L'ESCALIER DE CRISTAL (publisher) A vase with a shouldered baluster body and conical neck on a pedestal set in a gilded bronze frame decorated with a frieze of rais de coeur. Proof in multi-layered violet, pink and whitish glass on an orange background. Decor of columbines in marquetry of violet, white and pink glass, finely engraved with a wheel (shock to the foot, small firing bubbles burst in the decoration). Signed in the decoration, marked Escalier de Cristal - Paris on the frame and labeled "Escalier de Cristal - 8, rue Scribe - Rue Auber, 1" on the reverse.
