Gustave VIOLET (1873 - 1952) "La Catalane aux jugs" or "Catalana amb els càntirs", model created circa 1910. Subject in black patinated terra cotta (chips and restorations in lower part). Monogrammed GV and marked Sant-Marti. Height 75.5 cm History: model exhibited in Perpignan (1911, 1946, 1972), Barcelona (1914), Paris (1946) and Prades (2014). A similar model is in the collections of the Musée Hyacinthe Rigaud in Perpignan (n°inv. 11.10.1).
