Gustave VIOLET (1873 - 1952) "Le Jardin des Hespérides", model created circa 1914. Terracotta planter with curved tubular body on stepped annular heel. Decorated in semi-relief with a frieze of nymphs and goats through stylized trees (small chips on the foot). Exhibition label "Perpignan au temps des Bausil" dated 2006 on reverse. Height: 25 cm - Diameter: 26.5 cm History: model exhibited in Perpignan (2006) and Sitges (2018).
