PORTICAL HANGER in chased and gilded bronze, white enameled dial signed 'Warnie à Paris', Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic for the minutes, two winding squares, one for the striking, all supported by two alabaster columns resting on a quadrangular black marble base. Chased ormolu ornamentation featuring palmettes, trophies and draperies, and a wire-suspension mechanism (operation not certified) Louis XVI style, circa 1800. H. 48 cm. Wear, missing gilding, accidents, chips.
