NEVERS Round earthenware salad bowl with contoured rim with patriotic polychrome decoration of the Nevers bridge, barges and sailing boats inscribed "francois pleugeauz e Renée le BLANT femme de françois . an 10. -1802." In the center, a cherub flying a branch in his hand, blowing a trumpet from which escapes a yellow and blue pennant inscribed: ''La paix''. Early 19th century, circa 1802. D. 33 cm Broken into three pieces, restoration to the staples, two original hanging holes on the reverse.
