NEVERS - Lot 303
NEVERS Earthenware plate with contoured rim and patriotic polychrome decoration in the center of a spade crossed with a rake and sword. Below, in a blue phylactery, the inscription: "W la nation". This is not a three-order design, as the attributes of the clergy (crosier, cross or miter) are missing. The W in Nevers stands for Vive. Late 18th century, revolutionary period D. 22 cm Chips.
