Oval bearded dish with contoured rim decorated with polychrome patriotic symbols of the Three Orders joined by a heart and ribbon surmounted by the royal crown, framed by two ribbons bearing the inscriptions "liberté, constitution". Pansies, ferns and butterflies on the rim. Late 18th century, Revolutionary period. L : 32 cm Fractured with old repairs to staples and chips. This decoration can be found on plates, but rarely on a shaped piece.
