Chantilly Blue cameo soft-paste porcelain rim plate decorated in the center with the arms of Prince Louis-Joseph de Bourbon Condé in a shield surmounted by a princely crown and encircled by cords of Saint-Michel and the Holy Spirit and bundles of flags. Marked: hunting horn in blue and a P. 18th century D. 24 cm Several Chantilly porcelains from this service are preserved at the Château de Chantilly and in private collections, some of them bearing the inscription Ménagerie on the reverse, indicating that they were intended for the pavilion and dairy in the grounds of the Château de Chantilly (see Geneviève Le Duc, Porcelaine tendre de Chantilly au XVIIIe siècle, 1996, pp. 266-270).
