Sèvres Two crenellated glass buckets named verrière coupe pied élevé in hard porcelain with tortoiseshell ground and polychrome decoration of groups of flowers and fruits, gold rosette and wreaths of foliage. Marked: Sevres x for year 10 of the republic (September 23, 1801 - September 22, 1802) Consulate period, year 10, 1801-1802. H. 16.1 cm, L. 31.5 cm, L. 18.5 cm and H. 15.6 cm, L. 30.5 cm, L. 19.7 cm Restorations on the rim. These are undoubtedly two of the four tortoiseshell-backed glass panels delivered to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on 8 Thermidor year 10 (July 23, 1802) (Arch. Sèvres, Vy13, f° 54).
