Sèvres Hard-paste porcelain volute chalice chocolate cup and saucer decorated in gold on an agate ground with a frieze of grecques and friezes of palmettes and fleurons. Marked with a vignette in red: Sèvres - //- pour l'an 11 de la République (23-9-1802 au 22-9-1803). Consulate period, year 11, 1802-1803. D. 14.4 cm, H. 9.1 cm. Small chips. A preparatory drawing is preserved in the archives of the Manufacture de Sèvres.
