Jacques CALLOT. [Collection of engravings]. S.d. (early 17th century). In-16, Italian style, contemporary vellum damaged.
Brunet, I-1489 (21) - 1490 (22) - 1491 (24).
Factitious collection of engravings by Jacques Callot. They are partly or all extracted from three suites, none of which is complete but whose titles are present: Varie figure Gobbi. Florence, 1616. - Varie figure. S.l.n.d. (circa 1623). - Capricci di varie figure. S.l.n.d.
The first suite appears almost complete, with 19 of 21 pieces. The second suite comprises 13 plates out of 17 and the third 16 pieces out of 50, although we cannot certify that they are taken from the latter two suites.
Heavily soiled vellum with spine missing, a few stains.
