Second edition of Pascal's Pensées with corrected errors. There appear to be two editions of this work; the first containing 29 leaves for the preface, i.e. 39 introductory leaves as described by Tchemerzine and Maire, and the second containing 30 and a half leaves for the preface, i.e. 40 introductory leaves as described by La Rochebillière. Our copy contains 40 introductory leaves and has the pagination errors noted by Tchemerzine and Maire. Hinges a little worn and missing at the top cap.
