Fine edition containing a portrait, 74 plates out of text, including 3 fold-outs and a fold-out map. The figures are not signed. They are somewhat naïve and very well adapted to Rabelais' text. A beautifully bound copy on strong vellum. A fine copy with minor old restorations. Volume III is missing its lower spine cap.
