XI-322 / II. (1f.)-313 / III. (1f.)-292 / IV. (1f.)-312 / V. (1f.)-296 / VI. (1f.)-260-(1f.). Second edition of this collection compiled by Fontenelle and known as Recueil de Barbin. It contains poems by 50 poets, including the best-known such as Villon, Marot, Ronsard and Baïf, as well as lesser-known poets such as Lingendes, Bois-Robert, Patrix and Dalibray. For each poet, the work contains a biographical sketch that was wrongly attributed to Barbin, but was in fact written by Madame d'Aulnoy.
