Important reprint of Cazotte's Diable amoureux containing a preface by Nerval in the original edition, a steel-engraved portrait-frontispiece, 200 vignettes in the text by Édouard de Beaumont and 6 out-of-text figures after Moreau le Jeune which appeared in the original 1772 edition. A very fine copy.
