First edition of Gérard de Nerval's translation, illustrated with a frontispiece by Pineas. Our copy is enriched by the suite of 26 plates engraved by Branche (13) and Trueb (13) after drawings by Retzsch, published separately by Audot in 1828. A fine copy with unavoidable brown spots.
