A monumental publication, complete with its two supplements, of this indispensable French dictionary. It is still considered the best work of its kind. Some volumes contain pink endpapers entitled Alphabetical Index of new articles and additions contained in the 1st and 2nd supplements, making them easier to consult. A very fine copy, despite a tear in the headband.
