One of 388 copies on antique Holland (no. 318), this one enriched on the penultimate leaf with a portrait-charge in violet ink by an unidentified hand, with the words Etat idio (oh so much) syncra... sique du soussigné, après lecture. H.M. and Opinion de ma Bourgeoise sur l'auteur: / "Il est encore plus fuit sec que / ne l'est monsieur Henri Becque". Minor scuffing to spine.
