Maurice JOYANT. Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. 1864-1901. Painter. Paris, H. Floury, 1926-1927. 2 large volumes in-4, orange half-maroquin with corners, double gilt fillet, cover and spine, slipcase (period binding).

Very important monograph on Toulouse-Lautrec, profusely illustrated with 2 original drypoints out of text and numerous reproductions, including 22 color plates and 80 in black.
Respectively one of 175 and 200 copies on Japon (no. 54), containing 64 double state black plates, the 2 double state drypoints, one of which in bistre and, reserved for the deluxe copies, 4 additional double state drypoints and 4 original lithographs.
Because they are larger than the volumes, the lithographs (250 x 325 mm), justified 54/200, are kept in a separate folder.
A fine copy, complete with the lithographs, which are often missing.
