CARTEL in wood frame and inlaid with tortoiseshell on a brass background, the chased brass dial decorated with thirteen white enamelled cartouches showing the hours in Roman numerals, one of the cartouches dated '1672', the case finished with a doucine top, the turntable signed on the reverse 'Gaudron à Paris'. French Louis XIV period. Restorations, wear. H. 56 cm.
