APPLIQUE CARTEL and its lamp base in painted and lacquered wood in the Martin varnish style, decorated with flowers on a pink background, the circular chased and gilt brass dial adorned with twelve blue enamelled cartouches with Roman numerals, the cut and blued steel hands, chased and gilt bronze ornamentation decorated with cassolettes and shells. Louis XV period, circa 1730-40. H. 60 cm; L. 25 cm. Accents, restoration to the dial.
