SUITE OF TWO SO-CALLED 'A LA REINE' ARMCHAIRS in molded and carved wood, the recessed armrests trimmed with cuff, the flat back, the trapezoidal seat finished with four curved legs. Second half of the 18th century; one stamped by Pierre REMY, carpenter received master in 1750. Later cover. H. 96 cm; W. 65 cm; D. 54 cm.
