Exceptional Légion d'honneur grand cordon jewel of the "de Biennais" model made by the goldsmith Coudray.

White-enameled gold star with ten very slender, pointed points, set with a wide, fully visible crown
entirely visible crown formed of two translucent green enameled branches
of laurel on the left and oak on the right; the two-part centers feature, on the obverse
on the obverse, Henri IV in profile on the right, crowned with laurels, openwork on a burnished
signed at the base of the neck MICHAUT, the midnight-blue enameled listel is adorned with the legend
legend "HENRY IV KING OF FRANCE AND NAVARRE" in gold letters punctuated by a star.
on the reverse, the arms of France are encircled by the order's motto in gold letters
in gold letters "HONOUR ET PATRIE" punctuated by two long laurel branches; the royal crown
crown is articulated in high relief, with eight beaded arches resting on fleurs-de-lys
flowers of lilies, the headband with its pearled border and amati background
with burnished gems, and topped by a lily surmounted by a bezel through which passes
suspension ring.
Slight deformation to a point and to the foliage under the crown, tiny chips.
