Monumental cabinet in solid walnut, molded and carved, with flared sides, opening to four leaves with three-part contoured panelling, the frame part adorned with a coat-of-arms decorated with stylized foliage scrolls, clasps and flowers, The projecting cornice rests on rounded jambs adorned with three-star cartouches, resting on cambered scrolled legs joined by three leafy aprons with flower baskets. Very fine polished steel and lacquered brass locksmithery with openwork motifs, with the handwritten signature in ink on the reverse of the apron indicating the location of a workshop in Libourne.
