Travel set, comprising an agate and silver knife and fork, with a steel blade, in a stingray leather* case (restorations, damage, a later nut, rust) Unidentified cutler’s mark, Probably 17th-century Germany, Gross weight: 73 g *Specimen made from the dermis of a stingray (galuchat) of the Dasyatidae family, of the species known as the "pointed-nose stingray"* or, synonymously, the "white-spotted whipray" (Maculabatis gerrardi) *Species not regulated under the Washington Convention (CITES) or EC Regulation 338/97 of December 9, 1996, or the French Environmental Code.
